At CELA, our goal is to encourage students to use English while they are here so they have the opportunity to practice what they are learning. We allow only English to be spoken in the classroom. If a child chooses to speak another language, he/she is directed back to English. We also encourage our students to use English outside of the classroom when they are playing or eating snack. However, English is not required during these times.
